Bath the idol of the mother with pure water or Gangajal.
Offer yellow colored clothes to the mother.

Offer five types of fruits and sweets to the mother.
Offer honey to Maa Katyayani.
Meditate more and more on Maa Katyayani.
Do the aarti of the mother also.
On the 6th day of Navratri, devotees worship one of Goddess Shakti's forms 'Katyayani' or the warrior goddess. She has four hands that carry a sword, shield, lotus, and trident. She rides on a lion. Her favourite colour is grey. Devotees worship the goddess by offering her honey as prasad.
She is known as Katyayani because she was raised by a sage called Katya. And as per one of the tales, Goddess Sita, Devi Rukmini and the Gopis in Braj Bhumi worshipped Devi Katyayani and prayed to her for a life partner. Hence, even today, unmarried girls worship this form of the Mother Goddess.
