On the 4th Day of Chaitra Navratri, the form of Goddess Durga who is worshiped is known as Goddess Kushmanda. It is believed that Goddess Khusmanda created the Universe with her laughter, as before it was filled with darkness and stillness. This is the reason why the Goddess has been called the Adishakti of Shrishti.

It is said that whoever worships Goddess Kushmanda with complete devotion gets rid of all their sufferings and sorrows in a moment. Chaitra Navratri 4th Day: Worship Methods

On this holy day, first of all worship the Kalash and all the deities that have been installed in it. 

After this, start the worship of Goddess Kushmanda. 

Before commencing the worship, bow down to the Goddess while having flowers in your hands and recite her Mantras. 

While doing the Bhog ritual offer the Goddess fruits, flowers, and dry fruits. 

After this, recite Durga Saptashati. (As we have told earlier that if you are unable to recite Durga Saptashati due to any reason, then at least recite Kavach, Argala, and Keelak)

Then do the Aarti and after that tell your wishes to the Goddess Kushmanda. 

Offer Prasad to all the people that are present in the Puja. Then pray for forgiveness from the Goddess for all the mistakes that have been made during her worship unintentionally.

It is believed and said according to the ancient lores that worshiping Goddess Kushmanda increases the prosperity and opulence in the devotee’s life. Along with this, one also attains the blessings of a happy married life. Apart from this, those people who suffer from problems related to marriage are also advised that they worship Goddess Kushmanda. To receive the happiness and graces of Goddess Kushmanda, do the Bhog ritual with Malpua, or green fruits on Navratri 4th Day. On this day, you can also offer the Goddess Kheer made from Makhanas (Fox Nut). This is beloved of Goddess Kushmanda.

On the fourth day of Navratri in their worship the devotees must include yellow color excessively, as it is believed that by donning yellow-colored clothes on this day one’s knowledge and financial conditions will start to get better.
